I am Rashmi Choudhary, founder of Rendezvous with Rashmi. A computer science engineer by profession, I worked with India’s leading software firm, Tata Consultancy Services for close to a decade before hanging my corporate boots. After the sabbatical from work, it was my penchant for observing people and studying human emotions that drew me towards photography. My love for human interaction found a creative outlet in the art and capturing precious moments in people’s lives became my passion. I feel my most important tool is ‘empathy’ which drives me to make pictures that take people back in time and enable them to relive the particular moment once again. 

I established my brand about 6 years ago with the motive of documenting emotions with art. Since then, I have been shooting various genres. My forte is portraits - fashion/glamour portraits, corporate portfolios, maternity and family portraits. I also shoot food, interiors, fine art, wildlife, street and photo documentaries and believe each genre comes with its own set of learnings and rewards. 

For me, photographs are almost time capsules that immortalise an emotion or a moment.
